My gizmo loves hiding things inbetween the couch cushions. We do a weekly sock search, in which we lift up all the couch cushions and find pairs of socks stuffed in the cracks. One day we went food shopping and put everything away, except 1 bag got pushed to the side and forgotten about. It had cans and a package of 6 long sub rolls (hero's for those who dont call them subs!).... we all went out somewhere, and when we got back, we tried tossing gizmo a cookie. He stood there and let it bounce off his nose...and slowly walked away. Later that night, we found a 1/2 eaten sub roll stuffed in one of the couches...my brother got blamed...then we found the bag with another 1/2 roll in it stuffed wayyy back in the cushion of another couch...gizmo was verrry sluggish that night... he had eaten 5 sub rolls!

another time, he got into a bag in my parents room that had my brother and I's stocking stuffers in it...a bunch of random stuff..and 2 bags of gummi bears. When we came home that night, the plastic bag in the room was opened...the gummi bears were gone. we found 1 completely empty bag of gummis on the living room floor.... and the other bag, still sealed, stuff in the couch! the little bugger was saving it for later!

also, my neighbors doggy sit him while we are on vacation, and they forgot to pick up a bowl of individually wrapped hard candies from their living room table...they came home that night and the bowl was empty, all the candy wrappers were on the floor, no longer containing any candy. he UNWRAPPED all the little candies.

he also likes teasing US with his toys. he'll hold a toy in his mouth and put it on our leg, when we go to take it and play with him he jerks it away...this continues for as long as it takes us to get it!

are your corgi's as mischeivous as gizmo??

Gus does the whining thing too! Whenever he gets a treat that he doesn't want to eat right away, he generally walks around looking at us with his "urgent' eyes (meaning he wants us to do something) but won't come near us for fear we'll take away his treat. He'll continue to whine until he finally drops it in front of us so we can break it into smaller pieces or he buries it in his kennel!
Oliver whines too. He whines until he finds a place to put it...and usually it's not really hidden, it's more like a corner of a room, or something. He'll then push at it as if it will be hidden if he keeps doing it.

He also sometimes pushes his food down in his bowl before he eats it. It's like he wants to pack it all together before he starts eating. He'll move his nose around his bowl for about 5 minutes before he finally digs in. Then, if he starts to get full, he'll push down on the remaining kibble in his bowl.
Lola loves to go under the blankets and make a snorting sound when she gets static shocked on her nose lol. And in the morning she goes under and licks my feet (disgusting!) haha. I guess she is trying to tell me it's play time. She also pulls my socks off, and tugs at my pants and sweatshirts when I am trying to get ready to take her out. She thinks its a blast!

She almost always hides her treats in our bed. Sometimes if I am sleeping and she needs to hide her treat she will just walk around crying until I get up so she can hide it.

Once she stole my whole sandwich off the plate while I was watching tv and it was gone in 2 seconds haha. I also love when a piece of food falls in her water she blows bubbles trying to get it from the bottom, it's so cute :)
little bear has many, MANY issues. its why i love him, lol! first off, he's TERRIFIED fo trash bags. he will run and hide.

God forbid you leave a kleenex/paper towel/ ANYTHING within mouth's reach. that thing will be shredded before you can blink.

the other day, i walked out of the room for a minute and left my tupperware FULL of my lunch (rice and roasted chicken) and i came back in (not a minute later) and lo and behold, the tupperware and fork were sitting on either side of him, clean as a whistle. (he wasn't looking at me... lol, it was the "i'm ashamed"-stare-at-the-floor).

bear doesn't really care about the couch... he'll sniff and lift up a cushion about once a month, but that's it...

he also LOVES people. like has an affliction to where if there is a person in the room, even if i'm there, he will bring this person the ball, jump on them, demand love, bring the ball, want attention, bring the ball... lol!!!

he also does this thing where... okay, here's my bad side... anything, and i mean almost ANYTHING i eat, little bear gets a little bit when i'm done. so he sits there, ever so patiently, drool strings hanging out of both sides of his mouth (its unnerving to say the least) and waits for me to get done eating so he can have a bite. but every so often i get distracted and stop eating, and he lets me KNOW about it. he'll growl, do the corgi ARR-OOO-OOO and make damn sure i keep eating. he's so funny!
gizmo also loves shredding anything made of paper! we call it his "dog parties"... if we forget to empty out the bathroom trash barrel in the morning, when we get home from school & work, most likely we will find a dog party in the living room of torn up bathroom cups. he has also been known to shred soda cans.....yea, cans. the can looked as if it was put through a paper shredded. and he had not 1 cut on his lips or gums or tongue... every once in a while after my dads done reading the paper at night he gives him a look....and gizmo knows the look, he goes lunging at the paper and we play the "gimme that!" game where we chase him around and pretend to be mad lol he loves runnin away tearin it as fast as he can. the good thing is, i can leave a plate of food on my coffee table to go get a drink in the other room and tell him "be good" when i leave, and when i get back he has not moved an inch. bad thing is, he has quite a taste for chapstick! we've lost quite a few sticks of chapstick over the years. but hey, at least his lips are soft! we can also tell when he's gotten into breath mints..cuz his breath is minty fresh!

here's a picture of the latest dog party....someone forgot to take the kitchen trash out before work....

I had to laugh when I read that Gizmo loves to chew up bathroom cups. Rosie loves to grab Dixie cups out of the bathroom trash and chew on them. I wonder if it is the wax coating on them. Years ago, I had a beagle who stole a bottle of baby oil and chewed it up while I was at work. When I came home, my house was a disaster area. I had baby oil all over and to make matters worse the baby oil acted like a laxative and my beagle had left large piles of oily diarrhea all over the house. He couldn't understand why he had to spend the rest of the day in the back yard. It took forever to clean up. Some of the oil never did come up.
oh, and little bear loves sitting on feet.... we haven't quite figured out why, lol!!! its kind of hard to do house work when you have a precious little boy wanting some kisses on your feet, haha!!!
Okay- Duff's new trick was pretty impressive....

Cubbie hides things in cushions too, mostly food he doesn't want. EEEW! Also, there's a place in our yard (we refer to it as Cubbie's chill spot). If anything is missing, we look there and usually find it. He's quite the thief! He's pretty good as pushing doors open too...bathroom doors. He's a hilarious little fellow and we get such a kick out of him. Good luck!! Watch those socks!
Rosie will bury things she doesn't want in the cat's litter box. when I clean the litter box I find all sorts of things that shouldn't be in there. Maybe she is telling me that the treat I gave her tastes like sh**!
Max likes to hide his chewies in the couch too. He so funny because he is still a little too short to get up on the couch with a chewie in his mouth. For some reason he can get up if he has nothing in his mouth. Once we help him up on the couch he hides the chewie under a pillow or between the cushons. Then he tries to burry it using his now as if pushing dirt, only there is no dirt to push. It's funny because he is so serious about it.

He also likes to crawl up on the back of Daddy's chair while he's sitting in it and perch there behind his head. We'll see how well that works when he gets bigger lol.
Amber has taken to sleeping near the fire like the cats. I KNOW she dosnt like the heat, so she just does it because the cats do. She also plays a funny game with the Prince our black and white cat. Its a game of chase. Prince likes it but he always stops if he knows we are watching. She wants to play it more often then the cat and she will start to run to the back yard trying to "talk" to the cat is doggy language. She just dosnt understand why these animals dont know how to talk! LOL.
