Should i take her to the vet?
Yestarday while i was at work my puppy Adora was haning out at my boyfriends mom's store, she took her out for a walk and when she was binging her in adora was infont of her than desided to make an attempt to dash back out the door and got her paw caught in the closing door. It looked a little swolen after work (4 hours after insident). she was willing to walk around still but limping and lifting the hurt paw when she was stationary. For most of the evening she just wanted to cuddle up with us on the couch. I was hoping that after a nice long sleep last night she would be feeling much better. As that is when happened when she got her other front paw hurt by rolling around under my sisters 70lb pitbull who stepped on Adoras paw when walking away.
It is still swollen and she hasn't noticably improved since last night. what should i do? This is my first dog. My cat has never had a insident where his got sick or hurt. So i am not familiar with when something deserves a vet visit or what deserves a few down days. Should i take her into get check out after i am off work? should i wait out another night and see if she improves? or can i wait out until out until saturday morning and get it checked out during her visit to the vet for her 3rd set of shots?
What would you guys do/recommend?

Do you have a side by side paw pic? How old is she and is she still babying her paw today? Depending on what type of injury, sometimes it takes 2-3 days, without looking and feeling the injured area, you can do this to reduce the swelling. Get two bucket, one fill with colder water, the other with warm water, dip the injured leg and submerge it for 30 seconds in the cold bucket, then switch to the warm bucket for 10 seconds, alternate this by 10 minutes. This forces the blood vessel to expand and contract, speed up blood circulation., reduce swelling.
Depending on the trauma, worst case scenario is a fracture / hairline fracture. keep us posted.

I don't have any pictures. She is 14 weeks, she is still babying it the same as yestarday. (limping on it and putting a little pressure but not much. She will let me touch and feel her paw, she doesn't wimpper or anything when i do so. When i take her out to fo potty, she walks around and explores and trys to run up to passing people to greet them like she normaly does, just with a limp. Today it seemed that the nuckle of the inside toe was a bigger bump than the other paw. I will get someone to stop by and try your tech. to reduce swelling.

I would call the vet's office and see what they recommend. If they do want to see her perhaps they can give her shots at the same time since it would only be a couple days sooner than planned. She could have fractured her toe or leg, or it could be a sprain. If she is in pain and the swelling isn't going down I would probably want it looked at.

Well i can't get into the vet till saturday mornng anyways the soonist opening is a half hour before my exsisting appointment. they said if she is using it at all and is letting us touch and message it, the ijuiry is most likly nothing to worry about to much. The swelling has gone down, thank you Sam. last night and this morning she was trotting along and playing like normal, except for the limp. She doesn't seem to bugged by the limp to much, except she can completely terrorize everything for the time being, which is actually nice, but is making the house to quiet lol.
