Brando, the new puppy came down with a nasty bought of Giardia a couple of days ago. Due to his illness he has lost close to two pounds over the past few days. He is feeling better today, but still not eating or drinking. Last night I was able to get him to eat a little, but only eggs and cheese. He is a picky dog anyway, and if he were healthy right now I wouldn't "spoil" him to entice him to eat, but he's lost quite a but of weight and he really needs to eat. I am looking for ideas of things to feed that will help him put a little of that weight back on. Once he is doing better he'll go back to normal food. Also, any ideas of getting him to drink? Right now the only reason he's not dehydrated is because I am using a syringe to squirt water down his throat every couple of hours.
