I really appreciate the feedback. It helped me put together some questions for Kim that will help us make our decision. Man this is tough!

It's hard to believe we're only a couple weeks away from bringing home two puppies. After losing our last corgi, Chloe, the house just hasn't been the same. She'll always have a very important place in my heart but while we can never replace her it's going to be nice to come home to a house that doesn't feel empty anymore.

Driving all the way out to California from Arizona and back with dueling corgis in tow is going to be a pain, but I feel like it's worth it to work with a breeder like Kim. I just couldn't find someone here I had the same comfort level with.

So excited!

I agree with the posters below. I have an idea, is there a chance Kim would allow Kirby and the possible Lena's to play together? Maybe it'll help you decide who would make a better pair.

mmm i would say depends on kirby actually: if he likes to cuddle with people he might want to be the one cuddling. in this case i would choose #1; she'll go have fun and Kirby can laugh at her ;) but if hes happy with other dogs he might like a cuddle partner, in that case #2.

Sammy isnt much of a cuddler for a long period of time, which is good and bad: good cuz my rescue mutt is the cuddler and he get jealous easily; bad cuz i constantly get the rejection corgi butt -.-'

hard decision tho!! I personally think that #1 looks like a Lena ;)

Well, if number 1 is too much of a "go getter" she may run all over Kirby! My Bonny gives Rosie a terrible time. But they are both so cute a decision from me would be impossible! Ah, take them both!

Number one :-) bit I am biased. She looks a nit like my Bails and the description sounds just like her. She might be mor of a handful than number 2. Do u get to meet the girls in person?? If so, see if one is more drawn to u. Other than that I'd say one. Never a dull moment with a pup like that. She looks all sassy too. :-) I love that in a dog. Let us know which of the two cuties u choose. Ultimately it's what u feel will be best for u as well as Kirby :-). Good luck making this difficult decision

So today is the day we finally get to pick Lena! Kirby is a mellow, friendly puppy who likes to be held and cuddle. Now we need to decide which tri girl we want to pair him with. We have two choices. #1 is a smaller tri who is, as Kim says, a go getter who is adventurous, brave and a real go getter. She's also a talker. #2 is a more laid back dog.

Aaah! I hate making decisions. What would you guys do?

Hooray, we have sun today and the snow from yesterday is gone. Bonny had a mile walk this morning but our special needs Rosie will not walk on a leash.
