Whenever I leave the house, I stuff 2 Kong toys for Gonzo to keep him busy for a while - the classic kong and the Stuff-a-ball treat dispenser. Over the years, Gonzo has managed to hide them in some strange places. Has your Corgi managed the same?
Here are his various spots:
Behind the curtains
Under the TV console
Under his bedding
Between the refrigerator and the wall
Behind the toilet

Currently, the Classic Kong has been missing for 2 weeks. I have looked everywhere!

There is a small red kong in this house somewhere, it's been missing for a few months. I have no idea where it could be, I just vacuumed and shampooed my carpets today and it still didn't turn up.
I finally found our missing Kong, stuck between Gonzo's crate and the couch. I have spent a lot of time at corgi level trying to find those little suckers!
There is at least one very special hidey-hole. Under my bed is where Liliput sleeps, so aside from the odd rabbit body part, I have learned to look there when something is missing. Lately it's been the used bandages from my broken fingers (no blood). Why she hides these, I have no idea. And a certain small notepad I (try to) keep by my chair for making notes in computer games. Repeatedly. Why?

But it's the undisclosed locations that have me baffled. Once, while washing the rice cooker, a small piece fell on the floor. Looked for it, it had vanished. Just like that. Weeks later while in the kitchen I turned around and there it was, in the middle of the kitchen floor. Now, we had searched high and low, in the house and the back yard. It wasn't chewed, vanished and replaced.

Do Corgi's have special access to alternate dimensions, or worm holes?
Penni's Kong has been missing for months. I figured she found a special place for it and I would find it when I did my spring cleaning. My husband found it in our yard! Outside behind the swimming pool. Buried under feet of snow all winter! I have no idea how she got it outside without me seeing her!
I have two Kongs, one for each dog. Last spring, I couldn't find one of them, so I bought a new one. Finally, this winter when we had our first snow fall; I got my winter boots out. As I tipped one over to shake it out (to make sure no spiders were in it....SHUDDER!!!!), out tumbled the long missing Kong. How it ended up in there, before I put them away until the next winter, I have no idea.
I couldn't find one of Bella's little stuffed toys. We looked forever! One day I was cleaning up the closet and just happened to stick my hand into an old sneaker I wear for gardening. Sure enough wedged in as far in as a corgi's nose is possible of going, there was her stuffed hedge hog. I've never seen an animal soooo happy to have her toy back! I couldn't imagine what her sudden obsession was with all of our sneakers. Now I know!
I feel like Lance hides all his toys on purpose, lol.
