Ok, I don't mean to be picky or obsess on this, but Jack is 12 weeks old and his ears still have not come up!!! Not even a little bit!! I don't want to tape his ears up, should I worry that they are not coming up? I never had this come up with my previous Corgis???

Thanks for the advice! I didn't think of the cottage cheese, but that would be perfect to mix with his food! My previous cardi had big old rabbit ears! The ear sin my profile picture had seemed to be that big when we got him home, LOL!

We waited until 14 weeks then started taping. They were showing a little lift at the base at that point but the breeder advised us to tape. The bigger the ear, the more likely are to need assistance it seems. We left the tape on for only a day or 2 at a time and after each time his ears looked better. We only taped a total of 4 times and by 19 weeks they were totally up. We also added cottage cheese to one meal a day for added calcium and massaged his ears. Here's the taping tutorial I found most useful:

try giving him some cheese and a little plain low fat yogurt, since his ears need calcium this should help. but do not give him milk since this will upset his tummy

Taping is usually recommended at 14 weeks if the ears aren't up by then. His ears are "fighting" with his developing teeth for the calcium. : - )
