Oh yea its good stuff! The one I'm going to at the end of this month is 3 days. By the way kudos to you for being a cool mom! My mom doesn't understand the whole anime thing and thinks its foolish. :/

Thanks...I'll tell my daughter you said that. =D

She took the train to a suburb of LA and her friend picked her up. There were about 7 girls sharing a hotel room. It sounded like she had the best time!

What animes do you like? The only one I really got into was (is) FullMetal Alchemist.

Anime coventions usually are a blast!
I was into FMA, but then it got boring for me :/ I'm really into Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Vampire Knight, Vampire Hunter D, Hellsing. I have A LOT of manga (Anime comic books)! Im actually cosplaying as Alucard from Hellsing this year at Otakon.

Ugh...we have so many storage boxes of manga. I need to find a place that buys used manga.

My daughter did cosplay too but I can't remember who she was. I'll ask her later and post it here.
