Every time Frosty plays with his frisbee, he constantly shreds the grass around it. I think he has some kind of identity crisis where he thinks he is a goat!  We have to take the frisbee away or he shreds the whole yard.  He will play frisbee with us if we call him, make him sit, and tell him give, but he always has to get in some grass ripping before he will bring it back.  Luckily he doesn't seem to ever eat much of the grass, he just tears it out of the ground and throws it around.  Does anybody else's corgi do this?  I think its crazy!  I did manage to get some good video of it tonight (see link below)

Wow. I have never seen that before. I know that Kota will use his hind legs and flip grass/dirt/whatever up after he pees. It's not really exactly where he pees that he does that... He just does it. I don't know. I have never seen ripping up of grass with their mouth. Weird. Sorry I have no advice. Good luck.
My 2 eat/rip up the grass out of excitment. They both do the frisbee thing.
Edison did not grasp the point of fetch until he was nearly two years old. He kept on trying to "kill" whatever he caught, and destroyed several toys in the process. I think this is similar!
I think Frosty gets the concept of fetch, he just prefers to play keep-away instead because he thinks that funnier lol!
Lance prefers keep away too, he also knows the concept of fetch. :)
Get over it. You have a corgi, not a lawn. :)
