I recently had to move from a house to an apartment (not the best area, but it was 5 minutes from my work), and have been able to go home almost every lunch. I still take him on his 1-2 hr walks at the park, but he still has been having some issues once in a blue moon( started peeing on his things ).

And now,  I just found out my office will be moving 35 minutes away, right after I moved! I already struggle with the thought of being home in the apartment for so long w/ no other living interaction and now I won’t be able to go home for lunches either (I know, people call me crazy for worrying so much about a dog)…

Does anyone have any suggestions? Doggie day care is probably out of my budget as I’m a single full time worker, but Rufus is my baby and I would take any and every possible suggestions. Thanks! ( I seriously thought of everything, getting a cat..a fishtank..moving again…but not sure what’s ideal anymore)

Actually,...
There is a lady who said the work was moving just about 5 minutes from her and she said I can maybe drop Rufus off a couple times a week w/ her husband if it came down to it... which...might end up happening.

Other than that maybe I can get different friends to puppy sit once in a blue moon.

What a pickle. but thanks, I'm going to try to see what I can do. =|
Maybe you should set up the video for your pup to see what he does while you're out? When I lived in Manhattan, Bertie was going to be alone from 6:30 until at least 4, sometimes later. I ended up hiring a dog walker to take him out for a break mid-day (it was $8 or $10/day I forget). The rest of the time, he snoozed and tore up his pee pad for emphasis (I think he actually resented the implication he needed them!). If I left him with a treat -- it was still there when I came home! And this is a dog who lives for treats -- but he wouldn't eat it until I came back. Now that I'm in the country -- and have 2 -- I don't leave them quite as long, but honestly, I think they just go into suspended animation, waiting, waiting, waiting, with the occasional nap. I know my vet has some young people in the office who will do mid-day dog visits, just a quick playtime and let them out to pee, and they are pretty cheap too. Maybe there's someone you can trust to do that, for a reasonable price that fits your budget?
