It's amazing Oliver knows his name:

We call him Lees, Leelers, Leebers, Lollies, Puppers, Bunny Butt, Puh-puhs, Wheelies, Wheelers, Baby Bups,....and I'm sure there are a bunch more that I can't think of.

I think I only call him Oliver in front of people I don't know too well. : )
Mac's registered name is Faeriesteed Think Different, CGC. He's named for the computer (Colin is a computer engineer and a huge Apple Computer buff), but his name is also fun because of all the nicknames you can develop from it:

Mackie, Mac Attack, Macintosh, Macaroon, Macaroni, Big Mac, Mac and Cheese, Mackie Doodle....he has also earned the random nicknames of Goober, Boober (like the Fraggle), and Schmoopie (an homage to Seinfeld ;).
My girl is Hello Kitty, named after that cartoon kitty. She is ,also, known as HELLO,Kitty girl ,girl nose, the nose,Corginater, gnater, fuzzy butt, short one and toes-nose.
Bruce was a shelter rescue and that was the name he came with. At age 11 I was not about to change it on him! I call him Brucie or sometimes Brewski or Brewster (I like beer).

Sidney was named by his breeder, and we also decided to keep it. My daughter calls him "Siddy-widdy". Many times he's just plain Sid. Sometimes I call him Rocket because he can zoom sooo fast! When he's looking especially cute I call him Sidalicious.
Even though this was posted about 7 months ago i couldnt miss an opportunity to gush about pa'ani. Pa'ani is hawaiian for playful. It fits him perfectly! The breeder named him buddy but i wanted something that represented where I was from since that is in essence where hes from (he gets a lot of bonnies when people first meet him). let see when hes dirty or makes the house dirty hes pilau which means dirty and stinky in hawaiian. theres always pa'aners, fatso, fat ass (which is mean and my boyfriend calls him that), fuzzy butt, wiggly butt, bunnie, piggy (after he inhales his food), ni'ele (which means no listen), silly, squishy paws, pony...that one was from my best friends niece, baby, baby boy, stumpy, cutie, stinky, gosh theres so many!...my favorite is SQUISHY!!!
I want in! My dogs name is Grover. We have only had him 4 weeks now and picking the name became WWIII at my house. (Not really, but there was MUCH debate). My husband wanted to name him Butters and I wanted Darby. But once we got him in the car, Grover just stuck out! He is such a Grover. Grover was my fav Sesame Street character!
We call him:
Grove
The Grovester
Grovey
Groves
Hamster Butt

Grover and our cat, Melvin, have become The Boys. And also "Cut it out, Boys" or "Boys, Boys, Chill!!"
We named our pup "Trilobitus Megolus" - a fake latin species name that we made up after we decided to name him after a trilobite (both corgis and trilobites are so low to the ground! plus, we are fossil geeks...), but we've always just called him "Triley." Other nicknames include:

(the) Trileus
Tri
the babe
silly-goose
best friend
smush-face
bunny-butt (a mycorgi.com favorite, apparently!)
awwww smushface sounds sort of adorbale in an odd way :)
Well my guys registered names are ChansheksPrince of Thieves(Tucker)and Kamvalleys Holiday Wish(Sensei).Their nicknames are,for Tucker:TeeTucker,Bear,HunnyBunny,Frair Tuck and because he's a little overweight my Dad calls him Fatman,as well as Little Thief.
Senseis nicknames areSen-say,Big Trouble,Funnybunny,Hoover,Little Prince and because his ears are so big my mom calls him Batboy
When they're together we call them Double Trouble,or The Terrible Twosome.and when they're with my parents dog Shiloh,we call them The get-a-long Gang
My corgi's name is Gus, well really Augustus Caesar. We also call him Gussy Woo, "Ed" (for Oedipous!), twinkle toes, fuzzy butt, etc.
I'm not sure where my hubby got the name "Sadie" for our eldest girl, but it certainly seems to suit her. Rolo was named after the caramel and chocolate button candies. I had this thing that because our last name is Baker that we would raise a brood of black headed tri's all named after chocolate so they can be known in the neighborhood as Baker's Chocolates. Rolo ended up being a redhead but that's okay. We figure that's just where the caramel comes in :)

Sadie's nicknames are: Princess, Sadie Lady, Pretty Girl, Miss Piggie (though my hubby hates that one, she snorts! What else do you call a dog that snorts??)

Rolo's nicknames are: Roley Poley, Punk, Punkbutt, Brat, and of course "The Baby". He answers to all of them...or none of them... at his discretion :)
My pup is Suzy Q, and she is actually named after my mom in a way. Her middle name is Sue and since I have not yet blessed her with a human grandchild, the granddog was the best I could do. I added the Q kind of as a family joke because we have some those sorts of names "Patty Sue" and "Sarah Beth" that just kind of roll off your tongue. So far, I mainly call her Suzy, sweetie, stinky, bunny butt, and The Suz. She also answers to Dusty, which is my cat's name. I'm a big nerd, so I usually like to sing to her in the morning to the tune of the "Scooby Doo" theme song, substituting Suzy Q instead.
