Hi all,

 

Ollie & I would love to meet and are usually available on Saturday afternoons with advanced notice. Ollie's cousin Leo (a Porgi.. corgi pug mix) is usually with us as well :)

 

Just a note, I'd like to suggest that if we meet at a park that we try the Playa Vista park.. it's a nice, well maintained park with small/large dog sides and easy parking. Ollie & I (and anyone else who does not live in Santa Monica) would be unable to meet there as you must be licensed in SM in addition to LA County in order to use the SM facilities. I wouldn't risk it as it's a several hundred dollar fine and they actually have people at the park checking regularly. 

 

Lastly, I'd like to urge you all to join in with the current weekly meet up at the Redondo Beach Dog Park on Saturday & Sunday mornings from 8am-9am every week. Ollie and I go every weekend and there's a great group of about 10-15 corgis and their people who consistently attend. A big plus is that everyone there is super friendly and helpful!

I had no idea that you had to be a resident of Santa Monica to use the dog parks there. You can tell I am still new here. Where is the Playa Vista Park? I hope I don't have to drive too far!

Hi everyone. I think the playa vista dog park sounds like a good meet up place. Quixote and I havent been there yet but we heard its nice. We usually go to barrington dog park in brentwood, but it is only so so.
