Have a 3 year old female tri that we purchased from Keeles. We were number one on the list for a new puppy out of a certain stud, but have not heard anything back from the breeder, so we have decided to look for additional options as to not become to narrow minded. I live in San Diego California and would like to know if anyone could recommend a good local breeder. Thanks for the help

Thanks for the link, but I already know how to find breeders, was looking for a little bit of insight from someone who had a pleasent experience with a local So. Ca. breeder that they could highly reccomend. Maybe, I should be looking outside of Ca. and be open to flying a puppy in, any thoughts?
Talk to Geri, join the next meetup, talk to the ladies, meet with their dogs and get a recommendation.
Perhaps the mating session didn't take?  Have you contacted the breeder?  Good breeders don't have litters alot and readily available.  I'd be inclined to contact them and see what happened.  It's worth it to wait for a puppy that you know is coming from a reputable breeder.  Although I'm inclined to think that they would have contacted you to let you know what was up....
I had to wait a year for my puppy.  Sometime things don't happen as quickly as you would like,  But ask Gromit and Doug Gromits breeder is in Cal
