It looks like Laika's belly is covered in ant bites! We were running around outside this afternoon and I've seen lots of ants around. She is acting completely normal and isn't scratching more than usual (we're doing a food allergy trial right now because I think she ay be allergic to grain so she's been scratching a lot already). Should I take her into the vet tomorrow since I work there and I'm working tomorrow or should I wait and see if they get better? I work saturday morning too so I could wait and bring her in then. My camera battery is dead so I took a picture on my phone, sorry for the cruddy quality:

I'm pretty sure they're ant bites because they kind of have puss-like stuff which is what my skin looks like when I get bit.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I've never encountered ant bites on dogs

If you have sodium bicarbonate at home (baking soda), add a little water to make a paste to treat the area, sodium bicarbonate draws out the acidic toxins that cause the itching. If you prefer a commercial product, go to a walgreens or 24 hr walmart, get a bottle of calamine lotion. Use a cold wash cloth to clean the area first, you may use an ice pack to help reduce swelling (wrap the pack with a thin layer of cloth), monitor her breathing, if things go south in 5-10 minutes, that means she's allergic to the bites, take her to the emergency vet immediately.
You are so smart Sam. I love calamine lotion. It's freaking awesome stuff. I remember my parents using it on me as a child for all kinds of bites etc. Haha. Camping was awesome.
