My husband and I are looking to meet other couples with fur kids for socializing and fun events. We enjoy good food, wine, games nights and any activity we can do with our girl Duchess.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Our girl Duchess is a 3 year old Sable Pembroke who we have had since she was 8 weeks old. Our newest addition is Bandit a 3 year old black headed tri-color male, we rescued in May 2011.
Great. I am glad you contacted me. I noticed that you had not been on MyCorgi since March, so I thought you might return when the summer was over.
I only joined last year and that was because I wanted to attend a Corgi picnic. We attended the Wisconsin Corgi Picnic. Loved that! Then I organized the Illinois Corgi Picnic with the help of another MyCorgi person. I stayed off MyCorgi from Oct 2011 to March 2012. Then I started up again to list my new Corgi event CORGI-CON in May 2012. Now I have the 2012 Illinois Corgi Picnic listed on the events page. That is in October this year. Then I may be off for the winter again.
I am glad that Meik listed my review. I wrote it long ago and when they did not list it, I was afraid it was too long or something. I have also written a few people on MyCorgi about it and I added it as a discussion group right after we got home.
Did you notice there is a new group on MyCorgi for RVing with your Corgis? They only have 3 members so far. You should join them.
That's what I thought too, but I started looking over his photos last night to get a good look at his fur in different lighting, and I'm pretty sure I can see where he's going to darken when he's older. It's much darker along his spine, and if I look hard enough I can see the shadowing on his head. I find it a bit strange, honestly. The reds come out dark as pups, then lighten up, and then (if they're a sable) they darken again! Watching him grow up and grow into it will be a lot of fun, I think.
I just saw your message about Sunday's event. That is a bummer. I am okay if we still go but I would say that we should use the community room to help with the cost. Hmm...tough call. I'll support whatever is decided.

WElcome Brigitte and Duchess! You have some great photos; it looks like Duchess has a great life. DO you take her to Renaissance Fairs too? We have one twice a year here in San Diego and the corgis are simply adored there!
Maybe we could have a meet-up, sometime soon, when it cools off a little more! He's a wimp and doesn't like the heat. He runs around for a few minutes and then lays down. haha :) He just turned two in August.
