Event Description

MARK YOUR CALENDERS!!!

2014 WI Corgi Picnic has been set for September 13, 1-5 p.m. at the Jefferson County Dog Park!!!

Also, some additional exciting news:

FaerieLand Corgi Rescue will be ON-SITE with Rescue Dogs!! So if you are interested in adopting, or know anybody who is looking to add a Corgi into their life, feel free to come and meet some dogs in need of a home!! In addition, if you have any old sheets, blankets or towels that you are looking to throw away, we are asking you to bring them along as a donation to FaerieLand.

As in previous years, we will be holding our Raffle For Rescue. Tickets will be 1 ticket = $1 or 6 tickets = $5. There will also be a special $5 Raffle Item up for auction.

Corgi Breeders as well as dog trainers will also be on site.

Cost is $5 per dog--paid to the Jefferson County Parks Department and we are asking people to bring a dish to pass. Also, we will have some chairs available, but you may want to bring a chair just in case.

I am also looking for people to show up early to help set-up and stay after to help tear down. We are also asking that if anyone has an extra pop-up tent if they could bring it along for shade.

I will be posting a .JPG of our flyer, feel free to print out some copies and place them around your local pet stores, dog parks and vet clinics!

Can't wait!!!

The official count this year was 77 Corgis!! We also raised $580.00 for Rescue BUT I got a phone call the other day that somebody is sending in another cash donation!

It was a wonderful opportunity for Corgi's and their families alike.  The park is quite nice.  I was told that there were 75 Corgi's at the event along with their human companions.  Beautiful day and great event.

A great time was had by all! Sophie slept all the way home and she wasn't even running around like the younger pups. Thanks to all who organized this event!

A great time was had by all, thank you to Flicker and everyone who worked so hard to coordinate this event.  Puppies are totally dead to the world.

Flicker- no worries about the table. I just couldn't remember who it was I had been in touch with! I think the anesthesia from my winter surgery permanently affected my brain. That's my story and I'm sticking with it, anyhow!

We will also be driving up to the picnic from Champaign, Illinois.

Glad to see that Stephanie will be attending with Kallie & Thor.

We are looking forward to our 5th Wisconsin Picnic!
