Would it be okay for me to put up some fliers around town or have you got all of that covered?  I made one up with some pull-off tags with the website address for more information.  I can print some out and put them around in some of the pet stores, etc., but if you've got it under control, that's good.  Just want to help out if I can.

Anyone can bring their dogs.  It is a public dog park.

Last year on the invitation I added that sibling dogs of Corgis could come as well.  I left it off this year because there was just too much info on the flyer.

We had some Corgi mixes last year too.

The more the merrier.

Is this strictly for Corgis?  I know someone who has a Corgi mix rescue dog but she has two other small mixed-breed rescue dogs, too.  Also another with Border Collies.  Both have expressed a chance that they might like to join in...

I look forward to watching Kallie play with other Corgis.  The event we were at this last weekend had a playgroup of three border collies, one miniature Australian shepherd and one corgi, Kallie.  All herders and all had a lot of fun.  I took photos and the differences in size made for quite a funny group of photos.  Tall bc's, low to the ground Corgi and a young mini Aussie.

Stephanie, It is fun to watch Corgis play together.  They play the same way so it is more successful than with some other breeds.  Herders love to run together.  I am sure your little Kallie loves playing with her border collie friends too, afterall they are herders as well.

I know when we go to the dog park mine will play with anyone, but when they see another Corgi, they leave the other dogs to play with their own kind.  I have even noticed that they act differently when they see a Corgi on TV rather than other breeds.

Carolyn.....  weather permitting, come on over.  From the photos, it looks like last year's CorgiCon was a lot of fun.  Our Corgi girl, Kallie, is looking forward to meeting a lot of other Corgi's.  Her main playmates now are Border Collies and she has a blast with them.  However, she would like to have an opportunity to play with a lot her own size ........ :-)  I know someone who might drive down from the Kenosha, Wisconsin area for this event.  Could be fun.

Last year was the first CORGI-CON and we had 23 Corgis.

Here are some pictures from the day...
