Enjoy an afternoon of Corgi Capers! Your Corgi can run, play, and socialize off leash in this 10 acre fenced space featuring a shaded area in the park’s center and lots of open meadow for running. The park has a six-foot-high perimeter fence and double-gated entrances for safety. There are also benches, a water fountain, a rinsing station, and a port-a-potty on site. Other non-corgi family dogs are welcome to join the group. Bring your cameras, lawn chairs, tennis balls, sunscreen, dog towels, etc. Whatever you do, don’t forget the Corgis!
The Urbana Dog Park is located at 1501 East Perkins Road in Urbana, Illinois. (The dog park is only about 1 mile off Interstate 74. Use Exit 184 and head SOUTH on US-45/Cunningham Ave. Turn LEFT on East Perkins Road and drive half a mile. The Urbana Dog Park is on the right.)
Daily admission passes are available at the dog park. Fill out the admission form and place it along with $5 per dog in the envelope provided.
No puppies under the age of 4 months are allowed in the dog park.
There is a maximum of 3 dogs per adult.

JOIN US TOMORROW!
The weather will be great!
Sorry, Larry, that you guys can't make it. However, getting Sophie spayed is more important. Maybe we will see you next year.
Sophie is getting fixed on Friday, otherwise we would make the drive.
2 WEEKS TO CORGI-CON !
Where is everybody? (I was hoping for some RSVPs on MyCorgi.)
One guy actually started telling my husband about the event when he found out that we have Corgis. Jim had to explain that I came up with the idea. So the flyers and event calendars in my area seem to be working.
Now we just have to hope for great weather on May 19.
See you at CORGI-CON.
Sorry, Cassie and Camden. I picked the weekend between Mother's Day and Memorial Day weekend hoping that more people would be free.
If it goes over well this year, I'll plan another CORGI-CON for next year and maybe you will be free.
I wish-I'll be in Chicago that weekend :(
Amie Jo, I just noticed that you sent me your E-mail. I have now sent you the flyer, let me know if you have any trouble opening it. (One person I know had trouble, but she was working on an older computer.) If there is a problem I will snail mail it to you.
Please list it on The Daily Corgi and CiLiving. I am not familiar with these, but I will take any publicity. Thanks.
I did already contacted WCIA, The News Gazette, FOX TV, and WICD. If you check them out, the event is already listed on all but the FOX site. FOX said they hold the event info until 1 month before the date and then list it on their site, so it will show up 30 days before the event.
I have also left flyers at my local pet store and my vet. As I said before, I can E-mail a flyer to you if you sent your E-mail address to CORGICON@yahoo.com . Then you can print it and post it anywhere you want.
Hey I am going to post this on The Daily Corgi on Facebook...and have you thought of getting ahold of the local paper and WCIA or CiLiving? Maybe they could help get the word out to make this first Corgi-Con a huge success!
EMILY, Sounds like a good excuse to visit your parents in Crawfordsville. I hope you and Scout can make it to the Corgi romp. Looking forward to meeting you.
