So, bad news. I will not be able to attend this event. I was really looking forward to meeting other corgis and socializing mine with all of yours. I will try to attend the next event. We are big LSU fans (Leia will be a tiger for Halloween) and one of the biggest games of the season is this coming Saturday at 2:30. :( Next meet up, we'll be there!

She has been around other Corgis I think she grew up with 5. (We got her when she was about 1) I do think she actually recognizes other corgis and does better with them. When we take her to the dog park, she sticks like glue to our other corgi, I think he helps her feel more at home. (and she just loves her brother.. lol)

Leia behaved wonderfully at the Pearland dog park yesterday. She got along well with the 9 month old yorkie that was there. We'll see how she does with other corgis. Can't wait to meet you all! I am going to try to bring goodies for the others too if I can get my hands on some of Leia's faves.

Definitely give her a chance, we'd love to meet her. Has she had the chance to meet a lot of other Corgis before? I'd swear they recognize each other, the dynamics of a pack of Corgis can get quite interesting. We have had all types of personalities, but the owners have all been great about grabbing their dog if they get a little carried away. Everyone usually takes it in a stride and I think the dogs sense that and usually go right back to socializing. No worries, everyone is pretty easy going!

I am going to bring Elwyn and Gracie. Gracie sometimes gets overwhelmed meeting so many dogs at the dog park. She's more of a meet one at a time kind of girl. If she starts to get snippy, I'll just hold on to her, or have my husband take her home, but I want to at least give her a chance. Looking forward to seeing you all.
