Anyway at least Deuce is recovering now. But to be safe we better pass on this weekend. We hope you guys have a great time at the picnic. Post pictures!
Well firstly he hurt himself during playing or other things, and the feet was swelling. Doctor ordered anti-inflammation pills however his stomach cannot seem to take it! That lead to a bad diarrhea for the following half a week. Doctor says stop the pill, and we did, diarrhea got better, but after a while the limping came back.... this seems endless.....
Rosanne,
What is causing his foot problem? This has been going on a long time.
Poor Deuce! I hope it heals up soon.
Thank you guys for your wishes on Deuce! Too bad that his paw is still swelling as of today. He was getting better and all of a sudden the limping came back. So I am afraid we cannot make it to the picnic..... what a pity! We were very much looking forward to it. SOOOO sorry!
Jason,
Some events ARE more important than the Corgi picnic. Enjoy the day.
Hope you can make it next year or to CORGI-CON in May 2013. Of course, then you will need a babysitter for the new little one.
Lisa
I am sorry but we will be unable to attend. I was looking forward to going but Candace told me it is her Baby shower!!!!
SEE YOU ALL ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!
Stephanie,
Love the idea of the "hand-sized wands that they use in Star Trek which we could wave over our pets once in awhile and make sure they are okay....." I am sure we would ALL buy one if it was available! The vets would have them, too!
By the way, everyone....
I contacted the Friends Forever manager again this week to remind her of our visit and she replied....
All things are a go! We will see all of you in a couple weeks.
Contact with any needs you may have.
Looking forward to your picnic. Carol
Don't forget to bring your donations to their shelter. I bought paper towels and Purina dog food when I was at the store last week. (They specifically ask for Purina brand food when you look at their donations list since the Purina Company gives to their shelter.)
Can't wait to see all your Corgis!
Lisa
Forgot to say that I am glad to hear Deuce is better, too.
