My corgi, Star, is a 2 1/2 year old purebred Pem. She's generally quite active and my husband takes her out for walks twice a day.
In the last week or so, she's decided that she doesn't want to go on walks anymore. She loves car rides and the dog park, but when it comes time to go for a walk, she runs to me and tries to hide behind me, or leans on me and tries to look invisible! It's very, very cute, but a pain for my husband who has to try to get her out walking, and apparently he ends up carrying/dragging her out, and as soon as she's pooed she runs back home as fast as she can (if she's off the leash).
She used to love walks so much she'd frap and bark when I said "Where's your collar?", and now she just hides!
Anyone know what might be going on? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Chris
