I just realized how many people have corgis that like the water. Charlies hates the water, he is afraid of plastic bags, the water hose and flies ( only flies in the house, he tries to herd flies if he sees them outside).
These are just a few of the strange little oddities about him that I call "corgi quirks". Does anyone else have precious babies with corgi quirks?

if she gets into the garbage she won't rip it up all over the house, she will bring it into her crate and try to hide it. if he water bowl is empty she will flip it over, she loves baths.
we live close to a lake, and my corgi is suspicious. once she gets her paws wet, she does fine though. however, she is deathly afraid of kittens and balloons. seriously. will not be in the same room with a balloon
My 4-month old corgi loves to dig. He even digs at hard surfaces in the house, pawing so fast and panting - he looks like he is jogging on a treadmill, Is this a corgi thing? Or is he just psycho?? He also runs very fast in circles, growling and chasing the tail that isn't there. He seems to like water ok except for baths.
Lance doesnt know the meaning of quiet...when he is being demanding. No matter how much I say quiet it doesnt work, so I happened to ask him if he wanted to go take a bath? He walked away and went and laid down!! But wait....so of course the next time he got very demanding and wouldnt be quiet, I asked him the same question, yep...Do you want to take a bath? No, he didnt walk away and go to lay down, he jumped up on the couch and cuddled in the crook of my legs I had folded!!!! Now each time I ask him the same question when he has that demanding bark he now just hops up on the couch with me and cuddles with me on the couch!!! He is too cute!!!
Oh yeah, jus thought of something else....when we baa like sheep he goes into crazy frap mode, LOL, it is really fun to watch!!
Jax is likes to lick toes..It drives us all crazy. He also likes to lick my mom's hair and refuses to eat out of his bowl, he carries a bite onto the carpet and then eats it. His favorite toy is the laser pointer and foil balls that the cats play with. We can spend $10 on a toy and he wants to play with the $.59 for the cat. He also burrows. If he is in bed with me during a nap or with the kids in bed, he burrows under the blanket but leaves his hind end hanging out.
Wow, Ein and Jax must be brothers or something because Ein also likes to lick feet continuously until he's licked every bit of your feet. But wearing socks deters it! He sometimes also carries a bite of his food and puts it down on the carpet and eats one kibble at a time.
Socks do not deter Jax at all. The only deter is to run REALLY fast (not always possible with a dog on your heels chasing feet) and hide them in a blanket. Shoes will deter him, but we are not shoe people. It is a constant battle
"He sometimes also carries a bite of his food and puts it down on the carpet and eats one kibble at a time."

Bender does this too! He'll take a mouthful, drop it on the carpet and eat them one at a time. I thought it was just my dog that was odd.
Bender is terrified of sewer covers, the broom, sprinklers, balloons, plastic bags, and riding in the car.

He hates baths, but we're not sure about open water yet. He's still unsure about snow.

He also likes to bury bones under our pillows. And he refuses to sleep on his bed.
Our Cori will find every mud puddle at the ranch and go thru it..but put her in the tub for a bath, she wants no part of that!
We can't put to much water in her bowl, or she will empty it, by playing in it.
If anything is out of place, she will bark at it, like clothes laying on the couch to fold, or the Christmas tree when we had it up. She loves to play with ice cubes until they melt, sometimes she will eat them. Just a few of Cori's quirks. What character's they are!
Kirby's most recent quirk was being scared of a mini Christmas tree (it's potted and about two feet high). He also hates the vacuum and stools. Oh, and the oven. He rarely makes any noise, but he hates the oven so much he barks at it while I try to cook and runs in and out of the kitchen growling at it. Cracks me up. He doesn't see to like or dislike water, he can take it or leave it depending on how hot it is here in Florida.
