I told my husband about our discussion and he said it's because her legs don't weigh anything and they end up on top ;^}
All dogs I have ever owned (cockapoo, doxies, sheppard mix) have all slept with all 4 paws up. lol haha it's soooooo cute!!
I totally agree!!!! I have 3 dogs before (all different breeds) and only corgi does the super cute 4 legs in the air sleeping style...she is doing it right now!!!!!! cutezzzzzzzzzzzz
Since the first night I adopted Nick, he always sleeps on the foot of the bed. He usually comes up to where I can pet him for a few minutes, then he gets up and moves to the foot of the bed just past my feet on his blanket for the rest of the night. The only exception to this routine was one night a few weeks ago when I was sick running fever and had chills. I got up to take a couple of aspirin and jumped back in bed shivering with chills and rolled up into a tight ball under the covers to get some warmth. Nick came up to my face and nudged me with his nose (and of course that made me go into more shivering), then he lay down next to me on top of the covers with his back against my chest, and when I quit shivering after about 15 minutes or so, he nudged me again on my cheek and being satisfied that I was OK went back to his post on the end of the bed.
Awwww what a sweet corgi!!!
How sweet! What a good boy.
Toby and Lola love to sleep in the "BIG BED" but they are bed hogs!!!!!!!!!. Lola has a dog bed in our room and Toby has a rug but tends to wander at night-----------he could be anywhere.
Junebug sleeps on the bed nearly every night. She always scoots up against my legs until I am smooshed in the middle of the bed between her and hubby! Sometimes I have to kick her off to get a good night's sleep, but I always wake up to find her back in her spot. Thank GOODNESS for king size :)
Tegwyn usually sleeps in our bed, but occasionally in the crate. She usually naps wherever we happen to be though, sometimes under the kitchen table, or next to the office chair. =)
Scout does the same thing. He seems to get bored of one location so he moves, but like Daisy he's too short to get up on the bed again. Scout would lightly growl or bark to wake me up to put him back on the bed, but that got to be annoying! So I found one of those square ottoman type things and put it against my bed so that he could go up and down whenever he wanted! He learned how to do jump up and down on it so that he could move to any room at any time and still come back and snuggle with me!
One sleeps ON the bed, the other sleeps UNDER the bed. I'm very well protected! :) During the day they choose to sleep in their crates, or on the chair that is reserved for animals only. Oh- and on my feet when I'm on the computer. What's up with that??
When our son is home he sleeps in his room either on my sons bed or under the pinball machine it's a scooby doo one ;)
When our son isn't home, Kirby sleeps anywhere else in the house but our bedroom (Unless I forget to lock the door - then I hear about it from the hubby because kirby's claws just keep clicking all night long as he goes between my hubby's side and mine)
