adoptable corgi X in Canada
This girl is available for adoption. Not super fantastic with other dogs but that could easily be the stress of the shelter. She is only a year and a half and been stuck at the shelter for over a month. NO one is interested in corgis here.... and she likely will not be adopted anytime soon. The lady at the pound said she is very very affectionate and cuddly and very willing to please. If you are interested please contact me.

Hi Dana, she is located in Montreal. Actually outside of Montreal but we are hoping to pull her to bring her to our house in Montreal. We are willing to do some travelling to bring her somewhere else though if someone is interested :)

Thank you everyone. I think we are going to go check her out tomorrow (hopefully) and try and evaluate the situation and see if she could potentially be fostered in our home. Please pass the message on about this girl. Quebec is in an awful crisis with animal abandonment and abuse with no help from any government whatsoever. Puppy Mills are a rampant reality which is most likely where this girl originated from... (these are the purebred dogs here..go figure...) We really want to pull her out... LETS HELP THIS LADY! :)

@ Justine....I hope it works for you and this little girl! What i have found is that these dogs from puppy mills is that they never had achance to be a dog that is loved and with my Wiley...I really think she ate others poop to survive plus couldn't hardly walk. If you get her I would suggest keeping them separated for at least a week or so but close enough to smell and get used to each other:) Through a closed door would be best for 1st as this little lady might have had to fight for food and everything else:( If you have any questions...I will try to help just send me a message and I would give you my regular email as I will be gone alot this week but can check that! UPDATE:
We went to see Chipie (which in french means annoying brat..along those lines anyways) what an awful name to give a dog...indicated the type of owners she had in the past.
She is the CUTEST, most energetic little corgi I have ever seen! Someone will be very lucky to get this girl who is willing to put in some obedience. She has NEVER seen another dog until she was dumped at the pound. They dumped her because they didnt have time and she was...as they put it... annoying. She is not yet spayed, but will be. She was awful on our test leash walk. We then introduced her to Mickey, allowed Mickey to smell her and vice versa and then went on a little pack walk. She was amazing! A few minor corrections and she got the hang of it within two minutes. Then we brought Walter out and did the meet. Walter is a bit more intense so we had some growling and she could possibly snap at him. I kind of dont blame her.. lol...
The woman said she needs to be in a home without other dogs but we will be pulling her and fostering her until she is adopted. We pull her next Sunday (I have to wait until my Mom comes for her mini vacation and then leaves on Sunday) unless she is adopted before then. The conditions are not great that she is in (sleeping outside in kennels, unheated barns, really really stinky, no exercise) but she is safe from euthanization there and is fed and the woman really cares about the many dogs she has there. Its a sad situation :(
I took some new pictures which I will upload tomorrow. She is adorable!!!! I also think with a dog savvy owner this girl would blossom! She would most likely do better WITH dogs with someone who knew how to be the leader. Please pass the word on about this lovely lady.
She is a tiny little corgi at about only 20 pounds She is also NOT a mix but purebred... just Quebec style corgis. They are breed much smaller (like ouor boys) because no one really cares about quality and breed standard..just money. From our short hour visit we could tell this girl has so much energy and personality!! She deserves a second chance.
