i have heard alot of people adding green beans to there dogs food so they feel fuller and dont have to feed them that much food. both dogs are on wellnessso it can get expensive and even after teddy eats a cup in the morn(he is a very fit corgi, u can see every muscle) he acts like he still hungry and i know thats to be expected with the corgi breed but i figure a cup of food and alittle bit of green beans might help. so my question is, is it ok to keep giving them green beans in there food everyday from now on or is it just a temporary thing?

when i gave it to him before he liked it but had green poop(solid) but it alarmed my hubby lol

He loves eggs too I forgot to ask if that was ok to give also lol fully cooked of course. Teddy will eat anything but his favorite treat in the world is cheese lol
Scrambled eggs are the "Sunday morning treat" in our house. And Soffie and Griffyn dive right in as soon as the bowl hits the floor!!
lol thats adorable:)
I didn't know that eggs were okay and since today is a holiday and there is no work, we all (including Noodles) had eggs for breakfast. Noodles got plain scrambeled eggs of course and he loved them. I think he thought he was pretty cool getting to eat the "same" food as mom and dad.
Aww that's cute=) teddy loves eggs to. I always give the pets a little treat on holidays lol
Most veggies are fine for dogs. No onions or mushrooms, though. Be careful and add a little at a time -- too many all at once can cause tummy problems for some dogs. Our first corgi loved the frozen beans I did every summer; we called them beanscicles and she would come running when she heard the word.
Aww that's so cute lol I know that onions, mushrooms, and garlic is bad for them and can cause problems. Is there any other veggies that would?
Here's a great link that shows foods dogs should not eat! http://pets.webmd.com/dogs/slideshow-foods-your-dog-should-never-eat
Thank u for the link, it was vey helpful:)
By all means feed your dogs steamed green beans, cooked brocolini chopped, cooked cauliflower chopped, cooked carrot chopped, pumpkin (not pie filling). I do, however, limit the quantity added to morning and evening kibble. Don't let your corgi con you - use portion control and daily routine for weight maintenance! All the best from Williamsburg, VA: Bear, Tasha and Linus
Thank u:) I gave him some veggies today and he was so happy! Lol I can't wait to see what veggies he likes. I only gave him1/3 a cup and then for dinner 1/4 a cup along with his kibble.
Twinkie is a big fan of pumpkin! I get the big can (NOT pumpkin pie filling) and scoop same-sized balls onto a try and freeze them. After frozen, I transfer them to a ziploc freezer bag for storage. One or two nuked then mixed with kibble is her usual.
