What a wonderful story!  Bless vets that really go the distance.

A number of years ago I worked for a prosthetic company.  Tho our patients were of the 2-legged variety our boss was known to have a soft spot for animals.  He created a full prosthetic leg for a doberman, that dog lived a good long life and never knew he was different than any other dog.
