Well I am sorry to say I completly forgot the brand.
I had gotten a collapsable crate at petsmart that ran about $80. I think my mom got hers for $60. It is pricy, but it has a side door and one at the end. You could use either, and a plastic tray for the bottom. It also has a movable wall, which I used for Ein when he was younger. It is an open crate, not covered on the sides, and the bars are evenly spaced on the sides. My favorite part is that it folds up, almost like a book, and can store easily when traveling, etc. I used mine for his "den", to sleep at night. I think the size I winded up getting was a medium..not sure. When I find the brand and sizes, I will be sure to email you.
I've somehow acquired a ton of crates, but for home use I prefer the plastic type. The wire ones are nice because they fold and fit in a vehicle easier, but neither of my dogs really seemed to like them. Henry actually has a cloth crate in the house but he doesn't use it for anything besides sleeping, I wouldn't trust it to actually keep a dog confined if they wanted to get out. Both my dogs have 36"L crates.
