There were some Cardis last year. I think the Pems so outnumber the Cardis that there aren't as many to choose from. I know I would not want to have to decide between so many wonderful pictures myself!

Thank you Beth. There were a total of 5 judges, I only hold 1 vote, 5 votes were required to make the finalists.

Maybe they need a quota system, like they do for minorities..... A Civil Liberties Union for Cardigans?!?

A march? A sit-in? A bark-off? We could get creative with this :-D

By the way, I LOVE the pic you attached. For calendar purposes the focus is a little soft, and I know that is what made me reject so many of my own pictures where the dogs were calendar-worthy, but the focus was not. In my case it's usually not enough light for how fast the dogs are moving, so I get some blur. And both of mine make awful faces when I try to "pose" them, so the still shots are rarely any good at all.

Hi Laura, you will see the rest of the submissions (including cardigans) in the 365 calendar. Your thought is correct, this is a corgi site - for both breed AND mixes.

I agree Laura, the lack of Cardigans is very disappointing. It just means all the cardi owners need to take extra special pictures for next year to sway the Pem bias judges lol. It does definitely influence my desire to buy the calendars when there aren't any Cardis present. It would just be like buying a calendar for a totally different breed for me to purchase the 12 month (because Pems ARE a different breed lol). I for one will be buying lots of the 365 day calendars for my friends and family instead of the regular 12 month calendar.

I can't really complain since I didn't submit any pictures, but yes it would have been nice to have at least one cardi on there.

I just couldn't find a quality photo of my three cardis that didn't have me (good gads) in it. So instead of being proactive and actually taking one....I was lazy. So I can't complain.

Will definitely be getting some of the 365 calendars!

Oh, and in response Anna's post, how about a Shed-In!
