Costume Help!

I have two costume parties/contests in the next week (one being tomorrow, oops!), and I have a great costume idea, but pulling off some of the finer points might be hard. I'm going to be The Cat in the Hat and my naughty puppies are going to be Thing 1 and Thing 2! My costume will be easy, and getting red shirt should be pretty simple, I'll probably just get some cheap t-shirts from the kids department, but I'm not sure how to pull off the turquoise hair... especially in a way that the dogs will leave it on for any amount of time. Any ideas?

I've also included a picture in case you need to remember what they look like ;)

Great idea! The only thing I can think of would be if you could find a birthday hat in the party section and reform it with the hair on...I don't know but if it was sturdy enough and if the elastic band would be strong enough it might work??? Can't wait to see pics!

You could get spray on hair color (the kind in the can that washes right off) and just add color to their heads, or get some sort of hat as the base and cover it with turquoise feathers or something that would be easy to glue on.

That's a very cute idea by the way.:)
