Summer is 4 months old now. Yesterday I gave her a new food, Eagle Pack holistic and she started having diarrhea for 3 days now. I've done it gradually; like 20 pellets to a cup of old food. 20 pellets is barely 1/4 cup. Should I discontinue with Eagle Pack?

I would say yes, at least for now discontinue. Then once she gets back to normal. If this is the food you've decided on, then reintroduce it gradually. In the mean time to help her with the diarrhea here's a link that has some good advice http://www.dogchatforum.com/diarrhea-dog.htm.

We always use boiled rice mixed with some boiled ground beef when we've had a problem.

Hope Summer gets to feeling better real quick!!
Yes, I would discontinue also. Rice and chicken works well also along with her old food.It does not appear that you added too much but maybe wait a week after this clears and go for 1/2 of the new you were adding. Some dogs are more "touchy" than others! Make sure she's drinking plenty of water! Good luck and keep an eye on her...just incase it's not the food! Good Luck!
I tried a holistic dog food with my dogs and the results were about the same. I went back to the Canindae. It is an all stages food. A cup of rice with some chicken broth is good to help bind them up from the diarrhea.
Thanks all for the advice. Have stopped giving her the new food.
I hope it helped!
