My corgi, Moe, need the Arm and Hammer Dental Water Additive to help minimize his tartar problem. Somehow the tartar build up very fast and thick in one side of his big teeth.

I used to add the additive in their water before I got the kitties. Now I have two active ragdolls running around and share the same water bowl with the corgis. I don't think it is possible to separate their water bowl, since they like to drink or eat wherever they like. So I am wondering if the additive is ok for the cat?

Here is the ingredients: Water, Sorbitol, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Bicarbonate , Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, Lysozyme, Proteases, Thymol, Sodium Chloride, Zinc Gluconate, Cetylpyridinium Chloride.

This stuff really works on my dogs, but not sure if it will harm my cats.

thanks Ahead

I'm surprised it doesn't say anything on the bottle about whether it's ok for cats or not.  Try googling the product and see what other info you can find.  I tried an additive and I know it was fine for the cats.  I had to stop using it because one of the dogs wouldn't drink the water.

Have you considered contacting the Company itself?
