If you're looking to rescue a corgi I would contact your local rescue group. I believe there is one for Georgia if that's where you are currently located. Craigslist is very hit or miss in my experience.

I am glad at least that no money is being asked. When people try to recoup their money when abandoning a pet I think it is ridiculous. What ever they paid should be considered rent for using up that dog's puppyhood and love. That's maybe just me. Good luck to this guy!

I thought the same thing too til someone told me that sometimes they ask for a bit of a re-homing fee so that only serious owners inquire. I guess there are times when they are free and people get them to be bait dogs for dog fighting. Horrible I know! I didn't even think of that til someone mentioned it!
