I've had people ask me what my favorite toys are for my dogs, and I thought to start a discussion to let everyone share and pass ideas.
I like...
**Fat Cat Inc toys (canvas, I go through 1 about every other year; my dogs love the Mean Kitty and Very Mad Kitty) http://www.shopfatcat.com/tenascdogtoy.html

**Kong

**Nyla Bones (my male loves them and I hate rawhides, plus he needs to lose weight)

**Dr. Noyz Toys (made by Kong)- plush toys that are stuffing free, have a velcro back in which the 'dead' squeakers that sit in a separate pounch can be replaced; I've had a few of these and they are WONDERFUL! No pick up animal stuffing, no worrying about the puppy/dog ingesting the stuffing. They last a fair while with my 2 low riders that are tough on toys Website: http://www.kongcompany.com/worlds_best.html

Killian LOVES the Busy Buddy bottle! Adores it even. He hates Kongs, and chews through any of the other Busy Buddy stuff but the bottle has survived. We also give him a bully stick or a peanut butter flavored rawhide every day or so. They are his daily "snack" and he goes crazy for them.
Oh I do like to give the bully sticks on occasion too! They make my dogs a little gasey but it's a healthier alternative to rawhide, JMO.
I had to throw away the fist bully stick I got. It stank so bad I thought I'd throw up.
I buy pig ears that Shiro loves to death and antlers, they don't smell at all.
Another vote for antlers here! Last for MONTHS!
Twinkie too loves the antler! She also likes the water bottle toys and a screaming chicken (by Hartz), its not too durable chewing-wise but its been outside plenty and still screams!
that corgi is so cute. where di you find her? i have a pembroke and am looking for another corgi. i love the fluffies.
thanks, susan dyer
The do smell, haha mine make a mess out of pig ears so they dont get them. By antlers do you mean deer antlers?
Actually, I got Killian a tug toy that might actually be available like that about 2 months ago. It's a 4 foot long section of braided and recycled polar fleece. I can't remember the exact brand mine is - but you can find things similar to it all over the web. A quick search yielded this one here.

I'm also not a big fan of rope chews... Killian had one before I found this fleece toy but I was always paranoid he was going to swallow some string and have an obstructed who-knows-what. That, and this fleece has some major benefits:

1. Long enough that I can sit at my desk and work while he tugs once I'm too pooped to keep playing.
2. The fleece doesn't fray and after two months hard tugging it still looks brand new
3. 100% washable!
Haha yeah our dogs do that too, except the command is "Get mean kitty" and then they both carry it to you
LoL! I want one!
Chew ropes, and Orka Jacks. And his Orka ball. The only things that last in this house. Potus doesn't play with his Kong as much as he does a similar brand that is made from a rubber designed to give them fresh breath. He's abandoned his Kong in the backyard in favour of this other toy.
We also have an Orka jack, Buddha loves it, Maddie isn't much on rubber toys or nyla bones (unless it's stealing it to taunt Buddha) so she has mostly rawhide and plushes
