Guys, how do you resist those eyes when you eat?

I am not swayed much by cute Corgi behavior while I eat. I ignore other people's dogs too, when I eat over at someone else's house. I just think begging is a bad habit. At times, I do add a few scraps to her food when she gets her dinner (if it's healthy), but that's in her bowl. Lucy pretty much has learned to chill while I am eating. I do love the photos, though! The second one shows pouty disappointment so well. And the last one is hilarious!

The second photo.....that pup is WORKIN' those eyes!  Oh my cripes....I've never seen it done so well!

that last picture is the funniest thing!

Woof! you've got some Kodak moments here!! Too cute!! I'm on second corgi now and vow not to make the mistakes I made first go round with weight...when you know better, you do better. Absolute must to keep the weight down for all the reasons already noted. You will wake up one day and your corgi is fat - it happens that fast...and then it's months to get it off. You just have to develop a thick skin and look away. I like the comment about putting healthy treats in the diet - I do same. It satisfies you that you're offering something different and satisfies the presumably starving corgis...Great pictures - keep sharing!!

We taught our pups early on they had to go on their pillows while we eat.  SO now we just say "pillow" or dh says, you know where you need to be.  Brody is funny as he will very slowly creep little by little until only his fluff is touching the pillow and the minute we are finished he's right over checking out the floor  just in case...

Dinner from Mickey D's: $6.35

The face on your moochie poochie: PRICELESS!

I started telling Basil to get his Nylabone when it was time for me to eat.  Now when I sit down, he automatically runs to get it and chews it until I'm done eating.

Don't look into their eyes.  That's how they control our minds.

John is right..... someone needs to invent glasses that can protect us from those eyes.  We have always said our boys aren't beggers, they just stare.
