I love my CORGI'S - Bandit update

Bandit had his check up last week; he is GREAT!

In the words of his surgeon:

"Bandit's course & recovery should be in a textbook. But he can't be in a textbook because there is no medical reason for him to be in such great shape & recovering the way he is. There is something else working in Bandit's favor & it isn't me or you"

He is walking on his leg - his surgeon recommended to start taking him on 10-15 minute walks per day to start working that leg muscle back up. He isn't allowed to play yet, so he & his brother only get time together on leashes; and no dog parks just yet - but we are OK with that!

He is not on ANY medication; only a glucosamine supplement!

We got to take BOTH of the dogs on a walk today and it was AWESOME! It felt so good to be able to include Bandit on our walk again.

My heart is happy, Bandit is on the path to recovery & life is good!

I can't thank you all enough - you have all been such a wonderful support system for me throughout this ordeal. Your words of encouragement mean so much to me & I shared many of your words with my son as well. You all are awesome! I can't thank you enough..... Bandit felt the love - I believe the thoughts, prayers and support are what got him through this.

I am attaching a picture of Bandit on his first walk today.

I am a new member here, what exactlly happened to Bandit? Be encouraged, God is good and prayer is heard and answered! Blessings to Bandit and his owners....

I was just thinking about Bandit yesterday and wondering how he was doing. So glad to hear he is recovering so well. He is one lucky fellow to have such awesome humans on his team. I believe in the power of healing thoughts and prayers and Bandit's story is a wonderful example of that. YAY!

new member Anne...click on the pix of Bandit on their post. It will take you to all their posts. Long story short..door slammed on leg, badly broken...try to repair or amputate? Complications after surgery.
