At a jogger's pace (around 30 mins~).

Can they handle it 2-3 times a week?  I can't imagine this is good for their little body on a long term (if they can even do it).

I'm obviously jogging and wondering if Zion can come with me as a two-birds-with-one-stone.

If yes, is it too early for a 8 month old pup?  I assume it's probably best after 1.5 year...

Hi Andrew, 2 years old would be good, however you can start increasing your distance gradually and build up his stamina now, half a mile is a good start, keep him at a lighter weight, your terrain is also important. Make sure you bring water with you and stop for water breaks. Dog's sweat glands are at the bottom of their feet. Have fun!
I would definitely wait until he is older, but it's probably doable with some training.
I'm sure it's fine, as long as you take breaks with Zion and--like Sam said--bring some water.
I'm just jealous of any corgi owner that can get outside and walk with their dogs right now!Our boy Merlin had to have 2 ccl surgeries within a 6 week period so i'm stuck in rehab with Him for a few more weeks. Our girl Keri si trying to get her exercise without him,but the whole walk with me,she's looking behind us to see where merlin is.Oh well, hopefully we'll be out there soon!!

Our breeder said "no big challenges until 1 y.o."  As with all new activities, build slowly.  Don't let the dog get overweight.

Discourage lots of leaping off/onto (esp. off of) heights, furniture, esp. if smooth, slippery floor.
