Benny unfortunately is an alpha male and is clashing with my parents dogs so they and the vet have told me that I should find him a new home where he will be the only dog. He has a sweet disposition and is great at the dog park and on walks but at home he demands all of the attention, a dangerous prospect when he lives with two huskies who are significantly larger then he is. I have tried for 8 months to get him over this but he still charges my oldest husky in a bid for dominance. I don't want him to be hurt so I am looking for a loving family who will lavish him with all the attention he needs. Benny is 2.5 years old, up to date on all his shots, and pretty well trained for having grown up with two huskies for brothers. He is also greart with children, including my 3 year old and new born nieces. I really hate to give him up but feel that it is in his best interest to find him a home he is better suited for. I will be updating his picture as soon as I can find my camera. Please send me an email at jnelson871@gmail.com if you have any questions about adopting him. It has been a really tough day and I apprecitate everyones support in making this tough decesion. Over the past 2.5 years he has become my best friend wich makes this really really tough to deal with.

Thanks everyone

P.S. I live in Pittsburg CA.

i was just wondering, are the huskeys and your corgi neutered? if not that could be the reason why he is doing this. if not i would get Benny neutered and then make your decision because i would hate for u to give away your pup:( i know it must be hard

What about contacting the breeder you got Benny from, did you sign an agreement saying that the breeder wanted the dog back if you were not able to keep him?   Good Luck, I know this has to be very hard on you.  :(

Good idea. I did not sign a contract with the breeder but if I can not find someone who would make a good owner I will give her a call and see what she can do. He is from Poso Creek Kennels.
Yeah everyone is neutered. I always have all my dogs fixed as soon as possible to avoid this kind of problem.

Hi Justin,

There's a group for poso creek corgis...I would join and post there too as someone may love their dogs and be willing to take another one:)  I would check with the breeder 1st though. Good luck and keep us updated.
