What cat breed will you suggest to join my corgi family? I have 3 pem. corgis, from 2-4 years. They have good temper.
I want a cat that has good temper, friendly and easy to take care of. I am thinking to get a Ragdoll cause it seems fit the bill. Or which breed you will recommend?
thanks a lot ^_^

My Vet recommended an American Shorthair for the sweet personality. Took her advice and got an absolute people and dog (at least Tracker, never tried her on others) lover. She does, however, compete with Tracker for shedding the most.
Thank you everyone for your input. I will bring my corgis to local shelter to have a look. I did look at the cat photos from shelter. But all seems angry cat. But I guess it is just bad picture and bad mood. I will ask my friend to borrow her cat to have some in-house cat test and see how it goes.
Again, thanks for your suggestions.

Do you have a PetSmart (or a PetCo) near you? I know PetSmart does adoptions from local rescues, I'm assuming PetCo does also. Our PetSmart has listed the history that they know of the cat including who/what they are good with such things as little kids, older kids, other cats and dogs. That could also be a possible source. The shelter where the cats come from for our PetSmart fosters the cats for awhile to see how they are in a home environment.
I was looking into adopting a ragdoll not too long ago and I learned that they are quite passive and friendly for cats - to the point where they might not stand up for themselves enough if bullied by another pet.
If your corgis are the gentle sort I don't see why it would be a problem. I feel like a corgi not used to cats might try to herd or bully them though. It's possible to find ragdolls in rescues too... I found one last month lol.
My Bengal took to Butters right away. This breed plays a lot like a dog they compete at fetch. But he gets along with all of the cats.
