Looking to rescue a Corgi

Hey,

We just lost our Corgi, and are looking to rescue another one. She was a rescue and we adored her. We live in TN, close to NC, GA, and VA. Can anyone help? I have tried the rescue sites and most of the dogs are far away.

I went back on petfinder and actually found some rescue corgis. Am wiating on replies. Thanks for mentioning petfinder!!

You might try an unusual organization. For instance, I think in Virginia, there's a Basset Hound Rescue League that also rescues non-basset hounds, and I've seen a corgi or two there on occasion.

Keep checking petfinder - We recently rescued a purebred pw corgi from a local non-kill rescue that was listed on petfinder. He is adorable and we cannot understand how he ended up there. I am kind of obsessive about checking petfinder - a daily activity for me. (My husband says no more - 3 dogs and 1 cat is enough) I still check petfinder everyday just in case I can make a perfect match for someone else. We are also in Tn.

Same with our Corgi...she was at a Petsmart adoption. I will check the other rescues and see if there are any corgis available. Thanks for the information. where in TN are you?
