Lump on hip

Today I noticed a rock hard lump in Sammie's hip under the skin about the size of a marble. It's doesn't move so ta attached. He got a shot on her hip on march 28 an I'm wondering if that's what it's from but I'm just now noticing it. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Lilly got her shots then too, and she had reactions to both of the ones she got. The marble size lump on her hip went away, the one on her shoulder was bigger, and finally just went away. I called my vet about it, and he had me watch it to make sure that it didnt get bigger...but he said that sometimes the "reactions" take as long as 6 weeks to go away. I would just wait a week and feel it every day....if it feels like its getting bigger, or changing...its time for a vet trip. Although it should start to go down in a couple of days.

When Lance was a puppy, remember feeling a lump on him as well and he had just gotten shots. It did go away, I don't remember how long it took. ( Six years ago). Hopefully that is all it is with Sammie!!
