Hello everyone.  I feel really STUPID.  I bought Waffle a coconut to rip apart and left it outside.  It apparently had a crack in it and I threw it on the ground about 10 minutes ago to break it in half.  They both landed so the round part was up.  I gave him the piece closest to me to sniff and inspect and taste.   I saw yellow/green on the coconut flesh where the crack had been, so I was very careful not to let him lick that side of the coconut.  He licked a weird lumpy white thing off, which I had thought was part of the coconut.  When I picked the other half up, there was TONS of the weird lumpy white stuff, with yellow and green around the edges.  So he ate mold, not some coconut stuff.  The piece of mold he ate was no bigger than a cm across and half a cm tall. (That's maybe 1/3 in by 1/5 in. I'm so bad with conversions.  It was small, regardless).

I gave him a cap and a half of hydrogen peroxide within 5 minutes of him swallowing the mold. I took him outside, he pooped, then had some runny stools, and then he vomited. He barfed up about 1/4 a cup of slime with chunks of his food and whatnot.  Because the mold bit was so small and probably slimy and white, it was hard to tell if he barfed it up.  He probably did.  He then ran around the yard for a bit.  Now he's sitting quietly on the couch next to me, alert but probably tired/bored.

I called my breeder because she would know what to do, but she isn't home.  Is the induced vomiting enough?  He isn't breathing heavy or faster than usual.  No shaking, no whining, nothing unusual.

He should be fine. You would be amazed what dogs can stomach. I once had a dog eat month old moldy turkey out of my garbage and it didn't affect her at all. Since you induced him to vomit immediately, I wouldn't worry. Just keep an eye on him for a couple days, but really, he will be fine.
yeah, i'm pretty sure everything is out of his system from induced vomiting, just make sure to keep him hydrated, he needs to replenish fluid from puking.
Yeah, he's fine. Thanks, guys. It really eased my worry to have you say he'd be okay. :3
Glad he's fine!!! It's amazing what they can eat -- this thread could become a "top this treat" list. We were in the dog park when Bertie was a pup, and all these dogs were rolling on something in the woods -- turned out to be a dead fish carcass. Did Bertie roll, too? Of course -- but ONLY after eating it for a bit. Then he rolled, so his insides and outsides would smell the same I guess. And no ill effects....but like you I was so worried.
Look, not that mold is good for you, but you're dealing with an animal who'll snack out of the catbox...
Over the course of his eventful 10 years, Aber has eaten a dead tropical fish (the day I got him, in fact--out back of the pet store I took him to after the breeders to pick out things), a huge wedge of moldy cheese, lots of cat box crunchies, and lord knows what on the dirty streets of Nanticoke, as people throw trash on the ground and he hoovers it up before I can see. Only once did he get really seriously ill, and it was mostly likely from really spoiled chicken he rooted out of someone's front yard after their trashbags were ripped open. Short version---you would not believe what they can ingest and digest.
