My 1 year-old corgi has problems with his front and back paws.  He always seems to be limping on one of them, particularly the front and back left paws.  My dad thinks he has arthritis, but I think he's too young.  Could it be hip dysplasia?  I'm worried about him because it only happens 2-4 times per month, but when it does, he's in extreme pain.  He doesn't even want to move.  Does anyone else have a problem with their corgi's legs?  What is it and what did you do?

I would take him to the vet to try to see what is going on. This is not normal, and "only 2-4 times a month" equals almost once a week which is quite a lot for him to be experiencing this kind of pain. It may be both hip and elbow dysplasia or some other congenital disorder. A vet can often manipulate the joint and tell if they have dysplasia of some kind which they then can confirm with x-rays. Since it is happening so frequently the least they could do is give him pain medication to make him more comfortable during these episodes.

Has he been to see a vet? It's really hard to say what it could be without a physical exam and possibly xrays.

Obviously rule out any sort of injury at the vet.  If there's no obvious cause, then I recommend daily doses of glucosamine.  Our Kelso has some hip issues after 6 weeks of daily Ivermectin--he just turned two and for close to a year, he's been having trouble putting weight on one of his back legs.  I thought it would get better with time, but it didn't, so I tried the supplements.  He's been taking them for a few weeks now, and he barely ever limps any more.

Although the vet didn't diagnose it, I figured out through lots of web research that my dog was experiencing panosteitis ("growing pains").  That explains why the pain kept switching legs and why the vet found minor bits of inflammation in his knee when she x-rayed the leg that was hurting at the time.  Poor puppy.  He's been 100% fine since he stopped growing.
