so ein is now 7 months old and is scheduled for his big snip on thursday. i was just wondering what to expect post-surgery. i know he'll probably be on the sidelines for a little while but i was wondering if he's gonna put some weight on like females do when they get spayed. also, ein is pretty chill but he does love to burn off his extra energy by doing his corgi victory laps around the apartment. i hope this will not come to an end as we've all come to love this spectacle and feel he might have a natural talent for agility. how did your corgis change if at all post neuter? thanks in advance for all your insight! :)

We did not really see much of a change except that Sparty is very nervous when we get to the vets! He is ten now and never put on excess weight but neither did either of my females. We do carefully measure their food, give them lots of excercise, and try not to believe them when they let us know they are starving!
Our Ein didn't change much when he was neutered. There was a time when he put on a bit more weight (maybe a couple of months after neutering), but I assume that was because we were going into winter and he didn't get to run around outside as much. We just decreased his food and tried to increase exercise until he became a better weight again and we haven't had a problem since.

Ein still fraps around the house and is his usual playful self.
How did the surgery go with Ein?
