Sorry, I did not see this option for posting questions regarding diet, etc. for a Corgi and posted my concern under Emma's Antler photo...I read the comments regarding another person's concerns about how much to feed...well, Emma, when viewed from the top...has a "waistline"...but I believe she had at least four litters of pups...maybe five...by the time she was five years old, so she has a "droopy" stomach. Besides diet...are there any exercises (don't laugh) that we can stress to maybe help pull that stomach in?? My husband was "walking" her about a month ago (Roger must use a motorized chair due to ill health)...anyway some man stopped and said something about Emma being a bit chunky..you do NOT insult Roger's Emma...my husband looked the guy up and down...and then said: You've not looked at yourself in a mirror lately. Have you?...and then rode off with Emma. :)

LOL! I agree no insulting the corgs! However I notice that people often think they are over weight when they are not. I think it is due to their short legs and naturally almost stout looking body. (for the first time I understand what my short friends have been talking about) I just chalk it up to people not knowing anything about dogs and tell them that they are supposed to look like that. Usually they then want to talk about how cute corgis are and what fun they are. My hubby had to get used to people looking at our dogs and laughing!
Thank you for the words of encouragement...my husband keeps saying that WHEN he wins the Florida Lottery, he will get Emma a tummy tuck!!!
