Outer wear for senior corgi

My dear Bear is fast approaching twelve and I would like to ask for your thoughts on what is the best type of "outerwear" that will keep his shoulders, front legs and body cozier during our walks this winter.  He has an excellent natural coat, but I think a little insulation around the front of his body might be helpful.  Thank you everyone!  All the best from Nancy, Bear, Tasha and Linus

My Sparty is 12 and will be 13 in June. He has no interest in wearing a coat and will dive into snow banks on our Michigan winter walks. I do notice that when the weather gets cold he likes to cuddle in a dog bed instead of the doorway though.
