@Tammi...the reason corgis were docked in Whales years ago were to signify a working dog and then they didn't have to pay taxes on the dog:)
Just adorable!
I have to say that LO and Bootsies nubs go wild and it is so cute, mine don't need tails to show me how happy they are, their nubbies are a waggin a mile a minute.
We've got Cardigans and would never ever think of taking the tail! It's so expressive and so telling of what the dog is thinking I can't imagine them without it. Another dog walker I run into on occasion has a couple of Pembrokes with tails. Beautiful dogs, little bit smaller than the Cardi's, but all Corgi none the less.
Thanks for the pictures.
Archie has a tail since docking in the UK is illegal. Our first corgi had no tail and I have to say I just love to see that brush swiping through the air when he is pleased about something.. Would never go back to a docked one now even if we could.
Those babies are cute!
too cute. i love the look of both tails and no-tails, guess i just love corgis :) Ella's docked, but she still "wags" her "tail", lol.
Good for you. It is an act of restraint, which is often important.
Whenever I see those wagging tails, I can't imagine why anybody would want to dock a puppy.
