Separate Section on front page for Adoption posts
Would anybody else like a separation of the adoption posts and the health/behavior/whatever posts on the Discussion section of the front page? Is this possible to do? There are 4 such posts on the front page right now, and I think it would benefit all of us if we had a section dedicated to "Found Corgi in XX Area!" posts because 1) They stay on the front page longer and therefore get more exposure and 2) Other info about health/behavior stays on the front page longer and those people can get more help before slipping into the depths of the forums. I just browse the front page unless I am looking for something in particular... and then I use the search function.

No, I mean on the front Page we have a box for the most recent forum discussions that shows the active discussions in the forums. If it's possible: exclude the Adoption section from showing in the most recent, then create a new front page section that just shows the most recent 4 or 5 posts in the Adoption section.

I think I know what you mean Rachel and so see if this is correct. You would have a boxed area and it would be titles something like (a square like we have the recalls in)
Adoption/Rehoming
Pembroke in MN
Cardi in WI
Then someone looking for a rescue could click on there and bring it up to get pics and detail.
That's just what I'm thinking you were saying???
I like the idea and then if people could also follow the discussions from there on the dogs.

Yeah, like that-- or even a full-sized box like the Forums and Blogs are in below the Forum Posts. Whichever one fits best with the page layout.

Gotcha, adding another section is easy, excluding the latest adoption discussion from the main one will take some tinkering, let me get back to you on that.

Just another thought ...if it was in the box it would be rather easy to just click on the writers pic and bring it up on their page??? At least there would be a quick and easy check on the main page for people to see.
