I thought I would take a minute and share a recipe for treats that I made out of pure boredom the other day (I was suppose to be sick, but lying in bed gets old).

They are pumpkin and peanut butter treats. This was my first round. Didn't do too bad, that is to say, the dogs will eat them lol.

2.5 Cups Wheat or White flour

2 Eggs

2 Tbsp Peanut Butter

1/2 Cup Canned Pumkin

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp salt

and I added in about 1 tsp of Garlic powder and lessened the salt content

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Whisk together the flour, eggs, pumpkin, peanut butter, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Add water as needed to help make the dough workable, but the dough should be dry and stiff. Roll the dough into a 1/2-inch-thick roll. Cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  3. When you roll out the dough, make sure you sprinkle some flour out first and cover your roll with it, I forgot this fact and make quite a sticky mess of my cutting board and fingers... and anything else I touched ^_~
  4. Bake in preheated oven until hard, about 40 minutes.

I'd love to see any more recipes!!
