At first follow her with the leash and then gradually start giving a very slight tug to go your way.

Honestly, leash stuff is the hardest. Little puppies just have issues with it. At 11 months Ein is just now finally learning how to walk on a leash properly (ie no pulling and at my side). Maybe look into a nice harness for now and when she gets a bit older I really like the Easy Walk harness for learning walking manners. These are tricky to fit on corglets, but once we got Ein fitted properly it's been awesome!

Someone suggested to me to put the leash on your corgi and let them drag around with it on them without anyone holding it until they are used to it. But make sure you supervise so she doesn't get it wrapped around her or get it wrapped around furniture. For Kenny, I also put Fooey spray on it so he wouldn't bite onto it and run around with it in his mouth. I also made sure he was sort of tired at the time too.

I'm still working on him with leash training though. I hope that helped.
