Appa used to just whine when she wanted something specific. But lately it's just all the time, seemingly. I mean, I'm guessing she wants or needs something but I can't figure it out. She just turned a year last month. It's not food, toys, wanting to sit with me on the couch, petting... o.0 Is this a normal corgi thing? It's driving me a bit nuts.

(I know it's not any of those things because I keep trying to give them to her and it doesn't stop the whining)

Linus will often whine for no reason.  Once we've exhausted all of our options we usually "shush" him and it works.  Sometimes I think that he thinks he's talking to us.

Well good to know it's not just Appa that does it. Maybe she is trying to talk, lol. BTW--I think Linus is a super cute name for a corgi!

Fauna is the worst.  She usually wants attention when she's whining, but then again, she wants attention all the time.  If I'm too busy to play, I'll put some stuffing treats in her kong, make her do a couple of tricks, give her the toy, and buy myself a few hours of solitude.  She doesn't do the whining deal when she's with another dog, though.  Corgis are just very social and have high energy.  Most herding dogs like to be be engaged with humans or another animal most of the time.

Have you had her Spayed yer? my Jessie girl does that too, and she is 1 yr old too and is not fixed yet (next month) we are getting it done.
