I have my name in the hat for one of Carbon's kids - 9 were born 2 weeks ago. I'm # 6 but that doesn't guarantee me a spot as I am not a breeder or show person. So, I was looking for "alternatives" just in case. What I meant when I asked for "Reds" was a Red Merle. I wasn't clear, but Joanne's icon photo looked like a red merle not a blue one. Thank you for checking though. I see all these puppies born and "arriving" and I want a puppy again!

Oh I see. You don't see many red merles but you do every now and then see a red or sable Cardi. Good luck, I hope you get a Coedwig pup!

Red merles are rare to nonexistent in the breed. I've known of maybe two in all the hundreds of Cardis I've gotten to know. If you're in line for the Lilac puppies, they are all heavily marked merle and blacks. I have the other end of the merle spectrum, very silvery, and a couple of them only have tiny spots and freckles.
